Capture d’écran 2014 02 24 à 09.30.11 #12 Hitshayari : How to improve HTML tag order?

Problem: On your Home page you haven’t filled H1 text zone.

Solution: This is one of the most important elements in a website’s SEO optimization procedure.
A page’s content is crucial for its positioning, and naturally it must have one, two, three or even more strategic key phrases. The most important key phrase should be listed before the less important ones.
However you should not have more than one h1 tag per page and you should not insert links into it, either.

Problem: Your Home page doesn’t follow the recommended hx tag order (firstly h1 then h2 and h3, without skipping any step)

Solution: Your HTML tags order is like a book’s summary, it is important to respect HTML tags order. For example, a H2 tag can be opened if only a H1 tag was inserted before. In your case there are two pages on your websites who actually don’t have a H1 tag. That means your website doesn’t follow this very important SEO principle.

The algorithm of Google organizes constitutive elements into a hierarchy by basing on the use of semantic HTLM tags codification. A word highlighted by a semantic tag will be more important than other words neutrally presented.

This is how the algorithm of Google organizes semantic tags into an order:

-   Title tags:

—  h1

This is one of the most important elements in a website’s content optimization procedure.

Its content is crucial for its page rank and naturally it must have one, two, three or even more strategic key phrases. The most essential tags for your page’s positioning must be listed before the less essential ones. However, there should be only a H1 tag per page.

—  h2: 2nd level subtitle

—  h3:  3rd level subtitle

—  h4: 4th level subtitle

—  h5: 5th level subtitle

— h6: 6th level subtitle

Problem: You page opens a HX tag order without following the recommended order (firstly h1 then h2 then h3).

Solution: Your HTML tag order is like a book’s summary, it is important to respect HTML tag order. For example, a H2 tag can be opened if only a H1 tag was inserted before. In your case there are two pages on your websites who actually don’t have a H1 tag. That means your website doesn’t follow this very important SEO principle.

Problem: On your website there are some pages having more than one H1 tags. You website is not at its best.

Solution: We advise you to reduce your H1 tags to have only one per page. This allows search engines to find your page’s main subject as a supplement with your page’s title.

Problem: Your tags’ contents are not optimized.

Solution:

Ex: In a blog dedicated for dads

H1 The blog for dads /H1

H2 What kind of dads /H2

H3 Cool dad, bad dad,…? /H3
